In most cases, containers or other shipments come directly to us in Florida. Then, your order is shipped from Florida to your location via UPS, RPS, air cargo, or commercial truck carrier.
Emerald City delivery truck is available only for regular customers within Florida, on a case-by-case basis.

Special orders: If a special order is timed to coincide with our trip to Asia, we can easily accommodate it. At other times, a special order is difficult to accomplish in timely fashion.
If you wish to order your own container load, figure about three (3) months from date of deposit to date the container arrives in the US. For a full container load or other large order, we offer very large discounts provided that 50% of the cost is paid before production and the remaining 50% before the container leaves Asia.
1. All damage or other claims must be reported to Emerald City within seven (7) days of receipt of goods or they will not be honored. Be sure to keep the original carton, because the shipper (carrier from Florida to your location) will need to examine it. Damage claims must be made through the carrier. We will assist you in making such claims.
2. No insurance is available for international shipments.
3. Because all items are handmade, no two products will be exactly alike. Asymmetry and other irregularities are part of the uniqueness of the product and should not be construed as damage. Many consumers buy handicrafts because their uniqueness gives them "character".
4. Although bamboo furniture has a tendency to split, the cracking will not affect the strength or durability of the product.
5. The following special charges will be imposed whenever applicable:

6. Prices indicated in our online and hardcopy catalogs are for wholesale orders ($100 minimum purchase) except where noted. Retail prices are somewhat higher.

a. Be sure to check the dimensions of all the products you are ordering. When in doubt, ask us questions!
b. You are buying at discounted prices from a small family business, not a large well-financed corporation. No returns. Damage claims must be made through the shipper.
c. For shipment to a Florida address, add 7% sales tax.
